Happy Saturday Sue, this is a beautiful card, love mlace and flowers.
Sad to read that John Lockwood is leaving Creative Expressions, he will be a big miss, he is such a wonderful demonstrator and very talented crafter, hope we continue to see him on our TVs. I wish him well for his future.
Congratulations to Dorothy, enjoy.

Norah, hope your chest X-ray comes back okay, you too have had a severe chest infection, glad you are on the mend. Hope Mr is okay after the stent operation, loved your "auld crabbit features" you are so funny. I can't believe Harry is neatly two, it doesn't seem like 5 mins since he was born. They grow up so fast these days, but so much fun to be around.

Maureen, good to see you felt well enough to do a little crafting, just take care, keep your strength for your Zimmer ski run with Nirah and Elaine, the Breakneck Three, methinks.

Thank you all ladies for your continued support, I received a letter telling me that my manager had agreed not to take it further this time, I have had an adjustment of 4 extra days per year giving me a total of 12 days sick leave before they take this action again, although as I I have 10 days in the last 12 months , if I am ill again we will be back to square one. She said she pushed to do the best for me, later my HO said she had made the decision, so I don't know any more, just know it will happen again as I will never get better. Hey ho such is life at least I'm off the hook fir now, still waiting fir H & S advice. Your support us what has boosted me and kept me going, you are all wonderful, thank you all so much.
Daily hugs to all, our missing friends list is getting longer, miss you all, hope our poorly friends are feeling better, their carers are amazing.

Dear Sue and Crafters,

So pretty!

Congrats to Dorothy!

Sounds to me, Pam, that they're feigning mercy when they should be scared you'll sue them for a hazardous workplace. You suffered so much from what their move stirred up, and you had to work in it before the dust settled. They could have mopped up and filtered the air.

I hope everyone enjoys their Saturday.

Love,
Donita

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, a lovely video today Sue, I so enjoy the flowers.

I reiterate everything that Pam has said above, and also hope to see John back on our screens again soon.

Pam, do the management at your place not realise what they are doing, punishing you for being sick, and perhaps it is because of the move that this illness has been triggered. My heart goes out to you, you can do without all this stress.

Off to Detling this morning for the Createit show, hope to see lots of you there.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

Fabulous card again today Sue. Love it.
Congratulations to Dorothy. Enjoy your card.

Pam, glad you're off the hook this time. Luckily I've never worked anywhere that has had a maximum number of sick days you can take so it never affected me but it's hard to believe that they hold you to that when you have a chronic illness. When my daughter was having problems we took advice from ACAS the arbitration service. You can get advice on any work matters for free and they will arbitrate if you wish them to. They will give you all the facts on U.K. Working laws about any aspect you ask. We found them really helpful.

Thoughts and prayers to all. Crafty hugs,
D xx

Beautiful card, Sue, love the way you have created the 'background' with all the cutting in and then backing with different colours. Don't have any of these dies, but can try a version with similar ones. Have saved for future inspiration.
Pam, so glad you have some resolution, though how can anybody put a limit on genuine sick days?? Hope the business of the dusty move around is fully addressed.
Oh Norah, you had me spluttering with laughter - so funny, though serious too. Glad you both had your treatments/x-rays.
So pleased for Dorothy on the card win. Donita has made me conscious of the sheer daftness of saying well done, so won't utter those words again lol!!
Hugs to all, have as good a weekend as you can.

Good morning Sue. Gorgeous card. Love the use of both the striplet and the Gemini, and those flowers are stunning - must get this die!
Congratulations to Dorothy on your win.
Pam, pleased that you have had some sort of resolution but definitely pursue the effects that the move around has had on your health (and your colleagues). It's ridiculous that people with actual health issues are persecuted but those who have a couple of days every other week for "headaches" etc get away with it!
Echoing the rest of Pam's comments. Hugs to all. Sue xxx

Oh Pam, at least it is sorted , for now!!! When at work, I
had, I think, " 3 episodes" a year!! As I suffered from
migraine, each attack was classed as an "episode"! After
having to visit occi health, I told them that next time I
had an "episode", I would take the full week I was entitled
to, instead of coming back sooner when I felt a bit better, as
I was doing!! You can imagine the looks of horror!! Well, it
made me laugh! Hugs to you.

Love this card, such a useful design,

Hi Sue, a really lovely card with so much detail. I think it would take me all day to work out the placing of that many dies! I like the way you have highlighted just parts of the design, it is very effective and of course the chrysanthemums are beautiful as always.

Pam - I suppose that is a result of sorts but what stupid rules that you can only have 12 days sickness in a year without having to have meetings. What would they do if someone broke a leg for example? Well it is over now until the next time so I hope you can relax and enjoy the week-end.
Elaine - glad that Andrew is coping well with this round of treatment.
Norah - I hope your results come back ok and that your OH is feeling better after his procedure. I know that Aud will love the New Home card you will make for her, so thoughtful.
Dorothy - Congratulations on being this week's Wednesday Winner. Enjoy your beautiful card.

Good aftenoon Sue and the Wilsonettes,
This is a bonny card Sue with the wee frill of a gemini bottom which reminds me of really good thick expensive lace and then for the bonny wee striplet that looks like a tiny waist(not mine i might add). Those chrysanthemum's are so pretty and if using just the smallest die you could make livingstone daisies which is one of my most favourites in the flower kingdom along with pansies and their happy wee faces. All in all a gorgeous card Sue that i only need the striplet, the gemini, the chrysanthemum and oh perhaps the background dies that you have used at the top to replicate it, but that's fine, lol. Thank you flower for another beauty to cheer up a rotten wet miserable day, with the pesky rain clouds deciding to take over my hills as well, meanies. I hope that where ever you all are(except flufycat as she is just a mile down the road so is in with my rainy lot) that it is a better day for you all.
Oh Pam, how can you not get down on your knees and thank them for their supreme kindness and mercy that they have shown( sorry couldn't help but be sarccy). It's a pity they didn't take the same steps over the lot that phone up for a duvet day or sick day because they've been out on the batter the night before, but no there is nothing said to them because they are normally the managers pets that can't crawl far enough up them. They know who is workers and who are not, they also know just how to drag you down and then wonder why you're not chirpy these days or not looking quite yourself, i could go on but it's most definitely if your face fits and as i found out flower they are not the least bit CIVIL, which is at the bottom of their agenda. LEO isn't much help either for them looking in to bullying which really is what it is, just a more underhand and sly form of it.
THEY put you off your work when you don't want to be because they don't like working across from you and seeing the illness in your face and then take you through the mill because you're not at work. This is from first hand experience and at the moment the pension lot are in contact with my doctor to see if i have got any better that i could return to work, but not in the civil service, so that they can take my pension away from me, so it doesn't stop even afterwards. I had flu for the first time in my life when i started in the agency and THEY TOOK me home, called the doctor and when confirmed said they would see me when i was better. They started disciplinery proceedures the day i started back as to why i had been off for a fortnight. Also with them, your sickness record is only cleared if you have been at your work for FOUR CLEAR YEARS. I was never voluntarily off my work, always at my work and only off when i was brought home by my management because they couldn't handle the look of me. They couldn't seem to see that i was under the same pain at home as i was at work, but work let me focus my mind on other things and apart from anything else it was their doctors that said i couldn't work or shouldn't be at work. Pam flower, i only wish that they could see just the damage that they do to their workforce but i hope that you are better soon. Keep at H&S about the pollution that the reorg has caused and make sure you have a good union rep and if neccessary take them all the road for abuse of their powers/ actions/neglect etc. Sending hugs down to you lovely lady.
Well done Dorothy, i hope that you have that magical place all organised for your prized possession arriving, enjoy.
Sending hugs to all my lovely Wilsonettes that need, could do with or just want them, they are yours for the taking,
love and crafty hugs

Hello Sue, What a gorgeous card today and the video is so detailed that it's a great help. As you say, if you take it a bit at a time, it comes together beautifully
Pam, I'm lost for words (and Myra will tell you that doesn't happen often). You have 12 days sickness allowed, what happens if you break an arm, or get pneumonia, or something which takes a while to recover. I've always found that the willing horse not only gets all the work but is put upon, while the lazy workshy types get away with everything. I do hope you are feeling a bit better and that this doesn't pull you down.
Sorry to read that John is leaving CE and wish him good luck.
Congratulations to Dorothy on winning the Wednesday card.
Pat L, let's hope GOSH get their act together this time.
Norah, I hope your results are good and that you are soon back to your normal (normal!!!) self.
Elaine, hope all is well with Andrew and Helen. I've painted my zimmer red and decorated it ready for our adventure. All I need now is the Santa Suit although I don't have to worry about the specs or big tummy ha ha. Do you think Pam would like to sit on the "handlebars" (for want of a better word), the feel of fresh air rushing through her hair might do her chest the world of good ha ha.
Laine, where are you.
PP where's your tablet?
Love to all who are poorly or lonely and their carers.

Hi Sue. How I love to watch you put your samples together, no faffing or dithering just cutting with fun and so much confidence, unlike myself that hasn't got much of a clue and just keep my fingers crossed the end result will look and be acceptable enough to pop into a cello bag, price up and add to my basket or send off to a customer ! You are the creater of the most gorgeous work. Today's sample looks extremely detailed when looking at the stills, but watching the step by step video makes it look a lot less complicated, oooh the crysanthemum die, how I adore making up those beauties.
That's me done, I'll send my congrats to Dorothy before I go and wilt some more after an exhausting but wonderful time with gorgeous little Lottie before they introduce her to Kefalonia for the first time ☺ and last but no means least my love n hugs are on their way to wherever you are right now 💗 have an enjoyable relaxing evening xxx
